When little Solar was three years old, Yuko gave him a hand-drawn picture book she had created herself, Solar and the Baby Dinosaur, as a birthday present. The story was inspired by the warm and playful moments Yuko shared with Solar, who would often say that he wanted to be friends with a dinosaur. This picture book quickly became a favorite among family and friends alike.

Two years later, in 2017, So So Little Reads, named after Seiko’s two children, Sophie and Solar was officially born.
